“I had “3″ fillings done today!! Two of them were new and the other was an old one that had a crack in it. I was so afraid because the last time I had work done was when I was in the military. At that time the doctor stuck me 13 times and half was in the roof of my mouth. This time I did not feel the numbing and then I did the replacement filling done without the numbing injections at all. “This was all at the recommendation of the Doctor!” It was a perfect experience! A PERFECT experience!! I honestly have my entire family being seen here. All except the 5 month old who just got her first tooth 3 days ago! I am a Pediatric RN and I understand what it means to make the patient comfortable and to keep them informed. I am very happy with my treatment and care. I would recommend Research Triangle Dental to anyone! ”

“I came to RTDental fed up with my dentist whom messed up the same filling for the second time and caused me the need for a root canal! Dr. Cassidy was very attentive and suggested his partner, Dr. Lopez, the apparent King of Root Canals. Dr. Lopez performed the operation with the most supreme care, explained the process in a simple manner, and addressed all my concerns. I am especially pleased with the patience and sincerity they’ve shown my daughter. When she first began going to the office we were referred to a pediatric dentist due to a cavity that was found in her front tooth. We visited the pediatric office to try to fill this tooth and it was a devastating experience for us. It was very traumatic and I didn’t know how we would get this cavity taken care of. We went back to Research Triangle Dental, Dr Macmillan was so patient and gentle with her, and as a result of that one visit, with someone willing to demonstrate gentleness and talking her through the process, she enjoys and looks forward to her appointments! Although my daughter likes all of the staff, Dr Mac is her all time favorite and he’ll always be #1!!”

My only complaint, was that I had to wait a little longer than expected but I was okay with it because I was constantly informed and made to feel comfortable while awaiting the Dentist and he sincerely apologized and didn’t RUSH through the remainder of my appointment. I have a tremendous amount of anxiety with dental appointments and was brought to tears when I heard I had to have a root canal. Dr. Cahill took the time to draw me a diagram explaining the procedure and his assistant even took the time to go out to her car and get her son’s headphones so that I could listen to music to help me relax during the procedure. The front office staff was very welcoming and made a point to speak to my little girl asking her questions and getting to know her. This was her first appointment and she was not scared! Wow, I was shocked. The ladies made her feel at ease and made this appointment seem so fun! Unfortately, she has 4 cavities

“I used to HATE going to the dentist. Not now, Dr. Lopez is AWESOME!!! No pain, even with the shots. He gives me something first to help numb the area and he knows just how to administer the shot and it’s virurally pain free. He’s very friendly and a super dentist. There have been times where I have broken a tooth or have been in horrible pain and they have squeezed me into his schedule. He’s always full because he is SOOOO good. His assitant Cindy is also wonderful. They as a team work great together. They check on me throughout the procedure to make sure I’m comfortable. They even bring me a warm blanket if the office is too cold!!! What else can you ask for?! My teenage sons and my very fearful husband also enjoy their visits with Dr. Lopez. We have been with them at least 6 years. I recommend this office to anyone that I know is looking for a terrific dentist, assistant and office staff.”
